*On February 26, 2024, a Zoning Bylaw Amendment and Rental Housing Demolition and Replacement Application was filed.
Rental Housing Demolition and Replacement Application
On June 9, 2025, the Ontario Land Tribunal approved the Zoning Bylaw Amendment, approving a 69-storey residential building, subject to conditions being met.
Now that the Zoning Bylaw Amendment has been approved, the landlord’s agent is working with the City to finalize the “Rental Housing Demolition and Replacement Application.”

Rental Housing Demolition and Replacement Application includes 137 – 141 Isabella Street, Toronto.
Eligible tenants who moved in before the application was submitted, February 26, 2024, and are still at the building at the time a notice to vacate is issued, will be eligible to return to the new building and provided with a compensation package.
As of June 23, 2025, the landlord’s agent anticipates that the application will take no less than 2 years and will update the tenants on the status of the application every 6 months
